Emmy Lewis taught herself to read at age three and has since built her life around the written word. She has spent more than a decade working as a copywriter and editor for niche industry websites, magazines and marketing companies. She picked up her first Harlequin paperback on a whim to lessen the pain of a lengthy public transit commute for a stressful job in Brooklyn, never imagining that it would spark a deep and abiding love of the romance genre and the desire to write her own happily ever afters. Emmy now lives in Nashville, where she can be found planning her next overseas vacation, brushing up on Japanese, or simply relaxing with her husband and cat.
